How to Post a Youtube Video on Your Myspace

So you're surfing YouTube, getting smiles and laughter from some of the videos as ... there is the final fun, Oh my god cute, funny shocking video ever! You have to have it, you have to show your friends, now, immediately, this very moment! But how do you share? The email link? No, too slow, that's always going to have to add all the people who want to show. The link IM? Come again, will take too long. No, this has to be in your MySpace profile for all to see.

"But I never put a YouTube video into MySpace before!" I hear you say. Do not worry, it will be easy.

"Really?" Yes, really.

Okay, so it is now on YouTube, watching video ... look to the right of the video. See the section that says "Insert"? Yes, just click on the text next to the word "Insert" and all that the text is highlighted. Now copy. You can right-click and copy, copy, control + c, two-way copying. That's it for YouTube.

"That's it?" Yes, that's it for YouTube. Now go to your MySpace page.

He did enter his MySpace account, right? Good.

OK, now click "Edit Profile". Is toward the top. You can click on the link next to your MySpace URL or use the dropdown menu "Profile", then click "Edit Profile".

Now you're watching a bunch of text boxes empty and freaking out. Stop, you're right. Simply click inside the "About Me" text area, paste. You can right-click and paste, or control + V to paste, whatever, just paste. Now you see that you have copied the code from YouTube pasted into the About Me box.

Click the "Preview Profile" button under the About Me text area. Whisker far you are to your MySpace page and you can now watch the video on the page. Sweet.

Now you see that the top button that says "Save Changes"? Yes, it clicks. You may get a warning screen and have to fill a Capcha (type what you see to verify that you are a human), and once you do, the changes are saved.
